On December 13, Kuala Lumpur welcomed the grand opening of the 5th “Belt and Road” China-Malaysia Business Dialogue with the theme of “Looking to the Future, Sharing New Opportunities for China-Malaysia Cooperation”.

The event was jointly organized by the Economic Liaison Center of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee and the Malaysia-China Business Council. The Industry Overseas Alliance, PDAEXSEA, Shenzhen Government Procurement Association, Shenzhen Social Organizations Association, Shenzhen Cross-border E-commerce Association, Shenzhen UAV Industry Association, Shenzhen Sensor and Intelligent Instrument Industry Association, Shenzhen Retail Industry Association, Shenzhen Virtual Reality Industry Federation and other well-known Shenzhen business associations jointly organized more than 60 high-tech enterprises in Shenzhen to participate in the event. Ma Hui, Deputy Minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, attended the meeting and delivered a speech.

The dialogue brought together about 200 Chinese and Malaysian government and business elites to jointly explore the future path of cooperation in emerging technology innovation and green sustainable development. At the meeting, the Shenzhen Industry Overseas Alliance and the Malaysian Compass Industrial Park signed an investment agreement of over US$2 billion.

This year marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Malaysia. The two countries have achieved fruitful results in economic, cultural and tourism cooperation. China has been Malaysia's largest trading partner for 15 consecutive years. Malaysia is China's second largest trading partner in ASEAN. Malaysia is one of the first countries to respond to and actively participate in the "Belt and Road" cooperation. Flagship projects such as the East Coast Railway and the "Two Countries, Two Parks" are being steadily promoted.

The Malaysian side introduced that the country is committed to green transformation and low-carbon development, as well as the transformation and upgrading of the digital economy. It strongly supports the development of industries such as artificial intelligence, big data, cloud computing, and the Internet of Things. It has more than 70 industrial parks, unique location advantages, transparent legal provisions, and a good investment environment. It looks forward to Chinese companies coming to inspect and invest and work together to move forward.

In the "Green and Sustainable Development" theme exchange session, representatives of the two Chinese and Malaysian business communities, such as the Industry Overseas Alliance and the Shenzhen Government Procurement Association, conducted in-depth discussions on the prospects for cooperation between the two countries in emerging technologies and green development.

During the industry matchmaking session, PDAEXSEA Executive President Shi Jingjing shared his views on the theme of "How to implement industry overseas expansion".

Ms. Shi said that in the face of Malaysia's abundant investment opportunities and superior business environment, Chinese companies should actively seize new opportunities for cooperation under the "Belt and Road" initiative, make full use of Malaysia's locational advantages and policy dividends, and promote the implementation of the industry's overseas strategy.

As a leader in cross-border corporate services, PDAEXSEA has been committed to providing companies with efficient, convenient and safe overseas services. She suggested that in the process of industrial overseas expansion, companies not only need to understand the basic information such as policies, regulations, and cultural habits of the target market, but also need to have an in-depth understanding of key factors such as the local industrial chain, supply chain, and market demand. Only in this way can companies formulate practical and feasible overseas expansion strategies to ensure the successful implementation of industrial overseas expansion.

At the dialogue, Mr. Shi had in-depth exchanges with local professionals on matters related to Malaysia's docking with overseas investment.

She actively listened to the needs and ideas of Malaysian entrepreneurs, and also introduced to them the professional advantages and successful cases of PDAEXSEA in the field of cross-border corporate services.

The two sides had in-depth discussions on how to strengthen cooperation and jointly explore overseas markets.

Business associations build economic and trade bridges, and PDAEXSEA provides professional cross-border enterprise service delivery for Chinese and Malaysian enterprises. Both sides will give full play to their resources and strengths. Through this China-Malaysia Business Dialogue, we will promote mutual understanding and trust between enterprises of the two countries and find opportunities for cooperation for enterprises of both sides.

In this event, PDAEXSEA demonstrated our professional capabilities and commitment in promoting economic cooperation between China and Malaysia. It also allows us to have an in-depth understanding of Malaysia's investment environment and policy orientation, providing us with a valuable opportunity to expand China-Malaysia economic and trade cooperation. We look forward to further strengthening communication and cooperation with the Malaysian government, business associations and enterprises in the future, and jointly exploring more mutually beneficial cooperation models and projects.

PDAEXSEA has always adhered to the concept of promoting international economic and trade exchanges and cooperation. We hope to further deepen the understanding and trust between domestic and overseas enterprises through more high-end platforms such as the China-Malaysia Dialogue, and rely on deep industry knowledge and rich practical experience to help more enterprises seize new opportunities under the "Belt and Road" initiative, work together for mutual benefit and win-win results, and jointly create a more prosperous business future.
